Hey 👋🏾. I’m a human being living in Berlin. Berluminous is my photography side project.
I love feet. I don’t know why, and it really doesn’t matter. It’s just another part of my identity. And I accept myself.
Even though I know nothing is wrong with being into feet, I still feel shame because I am. It’s subtle, persistent, and a sign I have more personal work to do. I hope someday the stigmatization of feet and the people who love them will end 🤞🏾.
Anyway - photography is how I engage my kink in a creative, usually non-sexual context (“usually” because with some people, shoots double as play dates ). I love the creative process, the collaboration, the conversations, and the mutual acceptance.
I’ve been into photography since 2008. I started out doing street photography. When I moved to Berlin, I added portraits of feet under the moniker Berluminous.
Berluminous is a word I made up by combining the words berlin” and “luminous.”
My pure feet photography highlights curvature, strength, flexibility, and texture. For play-oriented shoots, my focus is capturing authentic chemistry, connection, and joy.
I like to dress up and attend House of Lunacy, Kit Kat, and places with similar atmospheres. But I also enjoy less decadent events and chill time.
I love deep house 🎛️, synthwave 🦄, chilled-out electronic 🌃, 90s hip hop 🎤 (and R&B 🗣), crime dramas 🔫, Asian food 🥡, socializing with misfits 🤡, and kinkiness ✨.
I’m also into hiking, cycling, coding, reading, writing, and exploring new places and ideas.
